On the eve of Stella McCartney’s address on the future of fashion at COP26, comes a seminal NFT drop from Tech-Luxe Digital Fashion house MYAMI.
The ICE RUNNER is the world’s first digital sneaker that dynamically melts, lasting only as long as the ice caps do. Providing a virtual barometer of the world's race to zero emissions and a safe climate future.

The fashion industry remains the second largest industrial polluter, second only to oil, accounting for approximately 10% of global emissions and nearly 20% of wastewater.
Furthermore, new analysis by grassroots environmental foundation Stand.Earth reveals that many of the largest global fashion brands that signed the UN Fashion Charter for Climate Action, have made little to no progress in their commitment to reducing supply chain emissions in line with the UN Paris Agreement’s 1.5C pathway.

The winning bidder will receive this Limited Edition 1/1 Digital Sneaker as well as dynamic updates as the ice sneaker melts (or freezes). As well as future ice sneaker ‘mods' shared as airdrops, that will offer interoperability across gaming and social platforms. The ICE RUNNER will also unlock VIP rewards exclusively for its owner.
Walk through virtual worlds (like Decentraland and The Sandbox) wearing your ice sneakers and become 'The Official Time Keeper of Climate Change in the Metaverse’ whilst driving community action through Digital Fashion.

PURPOSE OVER PROFIT
100% of profits from the sale of the ICE RUNNER will be donated to charity, with the winning bidder able to choose which climate initiative becomes the beneficiary of the proceeds.
Climate initiatives include; UN-Habitat Youth Programme, DigitalArt4Climate, Open Earth Foundation or another registered climate initiative of the winning bidders choice.
